Things were changing with time, or I should say people did. From those last benchers, sharing a single tiffin in between periods, poking each other's girlfriend or boyfriend with addresses like "bhabhi" and "jiju", throwing the basketball out of the goal, towards the window panes of the school premises and breaking them to the tiniest pieces TO a formal Hi or Hello, sharing that awkwardness at meets, forgetting those old precious moments to new folks, insecurites, coldness and what not. What  was blowing the mess even more was the fact that none of them cared about it.
It all seemed as if they were 'friends of mere spring', frivolous enough to not even get the meaning and essence of friendship right. Or maybe, they did, but only for temporary phase of life.
All this while, I kept wondering why do people define human tendencies when they can't even touch their roots of origin..... If emotions and relations were to be so damn virtual and impermanent, many of us would have been ruthlessly abandoned by perbutations of the homosepians for the clear fact that it was all going to end soon. Fortunately, for a lot of us it is all about everlasting sensations that do not let us leave our loved ones. And it should be that very way.
